About the Event

We are very excited to be able to introduce this amazing course beginning on May 22nd ending June 12th. We will be offering two in person 1 hour movement based classes per week with Liz Whitham at The Mill Studios or Trybe Preston (if you cannot make it to one of Liz's classes we can arrange for you to attend a differnent non heated class instead) and Alex Robson will be offering 2 x 2 hour group session on Saturday 22nd May and the 5th of June from 1-3pm.

Alex is an experienced Coaching Psychologist who's work involves helping people to transform their health and wellbeing through neuropsychological and body-based approaches - you can read more about Alex's background below. The 2 hour group sessions will allow people to get hands on practice of evidence based behavioural methods to improve their mental and physical health. In these sessions people will learn how to go from reacting and surviving to mindfully behaving and thriving. They will explore their own individual responses to stress, how to behave mindfully and in line with their core values, how to apply self-compassion and its importance to shrinking the inner critic. Materials will be included.

The movement based classes will consist of a nourishing Yoga practice and a Pilates class which will allow you to explore physical movement in a safe and effective way. These sessions will be taught by Liz who has many years of experience teaching both Yoga and Pilates to a huge variety of people from group classes to specialist populations and individuals sessions. Each session will be taught in a sensitive therapeutic way, you will learn how to observe your patterns, notice sensation and to listen kindly to what your body is telling you.

Introducing you to Alex Robson...

I’m a Coaching Psychologist regulated by the British Psychological Society. The difference between me and a life coach is that I provide a psychological therapeutic approach to behaviour change, blending mind and body-based practices. My background in research and evidence-based practice can support you to make important changes in your life and work through underlying issues that are holding you back. Working with the body and the subconscious mind, I can help you work around feeling stuck and get to the bottom of deep-routed resistance that’s getting in the way of living the life you deserve.

I’m fascinated with nature and the scientific study of health and behaviours to help people.

I got into coaching psychology because I like being there for people – I’m bursting with love and for me, my profession is just an extension of my personality and my own core beliefs. I believe that, with all of my training and knowledge, psychology is there to be practiced with real people in the real world. Above everything, I believe in kindness, dignity and compassion and I’m always learning from people and their experiences.

I pride myself on doing my utmost to help people. I’m meticulous and absolutely dedicated to my profession. Everything I do is ethical and I leave no stone unturned to help you get to where you need to be.

The investment for the course is £100, places are limited to 10 to ensure you receive the necessary attention from the group sessions with Alex. To reserve your place please click the link below
