About the Event

Join us for our first creative workshop with Ema Couteleau-Charlton, Ema is an incredibly talented artist who has designed this workshop where you will learn how to make a small macramé wall hanging on the eve of an earth full moon. You will be taught how to creatively knot using recycled cotton and sustainable materials. Open to beginners & intermediate alike, it's an opportunity to connect with others who share the same interests and learn and/or develop your skills. This is an opportunity not to be missed, if you have been in studio 2 you will have seen two beautiful hangings created by Ema especially for the space, her work is very unique and special!

What Ema has to say...

"If you look at my work what you’ll find are macrame pieces inspired by the old ways; you’ll see my work taking its shape from our natural world, as I integrate my love of nature and my passion for finding beauty in the unusual.  I’m heavily infuenced by the moon’s energy and I try to channel a little bit of that, as well as some earthy magic into every piece I make.

My ethos is to create affordable and sustainable art by using recycled and ethical cotton, with zero plastic in all my packaging"

If you would like to book a place please click the link below, places are very limited so book soon to avoid disappointment. The cost of the workshop is just £40 and all materials are provided.
