About the Event
Join Claire Occleston for an evening of heartfelt practices at The Mill Studios, this will be beautiful practice based on traditional Hatha Yoga, offering you a deep sense of release, stillness & calm.
Claire was initially drawn to yoga for the physical practice, however, it is a drop in the ocean of yoga’s potential. Claire practices and teaches within a traditional yoga lineage - offering you a safe & loving space to peel back layers of stress and armour, allowing you to return to yourself & your heart to access joy and uncover aliveness.
This evening will offer you:
Traditional Hatha Yoga - a grounding practice
Pranayama - Breath and mind are intimately connected. How we breathe is a reflection of how we think. If we make our breath more calm, easeful and balanced, then we become more calm, easeful and balanced.
Yoga Nidra - form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to flow between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium. The breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
Sound healing - Quartz Crystal bowls, Koshi Chimes~ Offering a soothing and therapeutic effect on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body.
The investment for this amazing offering is £25, this includes refreshments after the workshop and all equipment can be provided (though feel free to bring your own mats, blocks, blankets etc)
