Join us for our first 2 hour Pilates workshop with our fabulous teacher Hayley in studio 2!
Power pilates is a combination of classical and modern pilates, making you feel stronger, lengthened and toned. We will be focusing on your core throughout the whole session, giving you a better awareness and understanding of your breathing, posture and activation of the core front and back! In this workshop we will be using small equipment such as small pilates balls, magic circles and bands - you will notice how using this equipment helps with alignment and fires up the whole body. Be prepared to feel the burn.
The workshop will be held in studio 2 - a beautiful and calm space to try something new and is great for beginners up to advanced as modifications will be given** In this workshop we will also be working and explaining about myofascial tissue and how we can massage areas of the body with foam rollers and balls to release tightness that you carry in the lower back or shoulders and use this knowledge in other areas of your training programme. We will be closing the workshop with a relaxation at the end for the ultimate mind and body experience.
