Yoga & Your Menopause
5 week course. (Class 75 minutes).
Join us on this course for ‘hot’ women of a certain age and embrace your Inner Power. The journey of Menopause can be a bewildering experience. Just when you think you have got your stuff together – agreat change takes place within our body.
All women will go through the menopause at some stage in their life. Most common is around mid-40s to mid-50 but some women experience it much earlier. It’s a time when life can be particularly challenging and stressful.
Our Menopause Course is intended to support you though this time with restorative yoga practices, gentle somatic movement and breathing techniques. With lots of time for discussion around common menopausal challenges and suitable yogic responses.
Each week we will explore a different theme. No prior yoga experience needed, as you will be carefully guided through the practices.
Week 1. Crossing the menopausal bridge.
What’s happening for you now and how do you feel.
Week 2 Cooling Hot Flushes.
What are they, exploring triggers and letting go.
Week 3 Mood swings and irritability
Practicing the pause and releasing the tension
Week 4 Anxiety, insomnia and fatigue
Releasing nervous energy and resting into stillness
Week 5 Coming into our strength.
