I fell in love with dance at a young age and grew up taking graded exams from ages 3-18 and choreographing at a local youth theatre. I then went on to achieve a First Class BA (Hons) in Dance, and an MA in Dance Anthropology. Following University, I moved into the professional theatre world, focusing on marketing, PR and production, though always teaching contemporary dance classes alongside.
Around 10 years ago I discovered yoga, initially I was missing my intensive dance training and wanted to use my body. I began to develop strength and flexibility I also found a mind-body connection. I discovered the places of power and stillness that are within us, and through practice found my way to meditation.
In 2017, I took a break from the theatre world to focus on teaching yoga, and developing my skills and knowledge even further. I have since trained in Teen Yoga, and regularly deliver classes and workshops in high schools across the county.
I currently teach Vinyasa, Yin, restorative and meditation classes, alongside ballet, Contemporary and fitness barre classes. My classes can be playful, strong and challenging or calm and steady, though always balanced and nurturing.
