Yoga has been a been a huge part of my life since childhood my Grandfather was a Yogi he taught me so much about living with Mindfulness, Ayurveda, Pranayama and Yoga and I didn't even know it, until I explored it further, itches just our way of life. We spent Saturdays at the local temple, silent sitting, reciting mantras and singing Kirtan with a community of people coming together, looking back it was special. I practiced yoga at a local gym in my late teens, delved into it further in my 20s during university it kept me focused and then picking up a regular practice in my mid 20s, I absolutely loved the way I felt after a class and it made me feel closer to my Grandfather and Dad who I'd lost. In my 30s it helped through 3 pregnancys and being a mother learning patience and I just wanted to learn and share the magic. In 2009 I did my first Yoga Teacher Training at a local temple and I've never looked back I now have a number of different Yoga and Fitness qualifications all of which helps me nurture my students. I've always had a keen interest in the human body and love learning about how we can be happier from within. I have worked as a Community Development Officer for over 15 years and love creating communities and helping people to live an independent happy lifestyle and Yoga fits into this perfectly. I love to bring a smile and happiness into my teaching creating a safe space for anyone who wants to practice from 8 years of age to 108. I look forward to welcoming you and practicing with you, I will guide you through your body, your breathing, your poses to make you feel healthier through Mind, Body and Soul.
